V.U.M.M Jain Public School, Karnal owes its existence to the resolution passed by the Jain Community on the auspicious occasion of the Diksha Golden Jubliee of his Holiness The Rashtra Sant, Varishth Upadhyay Shri Manohar Muni Ji Maharaj, celebrated in Jalandhar in February, 1998 in the graceful presence of Hon’ble Mr. I.K Gujral(Then Primes Minister of India).

Secular and Ideal School
It was then that the noble and philanthropic idea of establishing a secular and ideal school after the sacred name of his Holiness cropped up and a unanimous resolution was to honour His Holiness in recognition of his half-a centuary long invaluable and dedicated services to religious, society and humanity at large.
